Teacher Training, Leeuwarden

The training took place in Business Development Friesland (BDF) premises, in Leeuwarden between 19-23 September 2022. On the first day of the five-day training, the Dutch culture and ecosystem of entrepreneurship were presented and success examples were analysed. Bursa İl MEM observed that all the participants showed full participation and took notes for future assessment.

On the second day, there was a presentation of the outputs about entrepreneurship that BDF has been able to produce with its participation in many previous Erasmus+ projects. These outputs were presented in detail so that they can inspire and help the responsible project partners to make some better modifications to the designs, studies and work on the outputs of the project.

The third day was about the characteristics of successful entrepreneurs. The soft skills that are required to be successful in the new era were presented and discussed. Real entrepreneurs were invited to the training to share their experiences. Participants learned a lot from them with the help of the question and answer session.

On the fourth day, there was a local school visit that BDF organizes. The participants had the chance of observing a primary school’s classes where some good practices of entrepreneurship lessons will be observed.

On the fifth day, there was a workshop where participants from different institutions formed groups and created a start-up business idea where they had to use their soft skills actively in these businesses. Then their business was evaluated by BDF and the whole team of project partners.

We believe that all the activities mentioned above directly served the aim of strengthening the teacher profile in entrepreneurship education.
